HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF HERTSMERE MENCAP: More than 15 years
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT IT: I really enjoy myself in the activities and love taking part. I like helping with the teas and coffees on a Monday in Art and it keeps me busy.
WHAT ACTIVITIES DO YOU ATTEND: I help on a Monday and then I go to Music on a Tuesday and Drama on a Thursday
WHY DO YOU LIKE THEM: I enjoy music because I like dancing and moving around and in drama I like taking part
WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING IF YOU DIDN”T COME TO OUR DAILY ACTIVITIES: I would be very bored stuck in the house. I think I would be lost and very under the weather and not happy
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE SONG: Islands in the Stream by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. I like this so much as I love country music and it makes me happy.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE: Every which way but loose with Clint Eastwood. I really like the orang-utan in it, as he’s so funny.
IF YOU HAD ONE WISH, WHAT WOULD IT BE: I want to go to Tenerife for a holiday because it’s much warmer than here
DO YOU WANT TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE?: I love going to all the activities and joining Hertsmere Mencap is the best thing I’ve ever done
