Daily activity programme
We have had such a busy time at our activities over the last few weeks, we can barely keep up!
We have record numbers attending our art classes. Participants joined in, making keyrings, stained glass windows, Valentines Day cards, sensory collages, beach scenes and many more creations.
We are delighted to introduce Francesca Dresner to the Day Activities team. Francesca will be replacing Sian Kenrick as Activity Coordinator. We’d like to thank Sian for doing such a super job and while we’re sorry to see her go, we’re delighted that she will continue to run her Tuesday morning music sessions, 11-1230pm at Maxwell Hall.
A soul filled jazz night complete with a three course French inspired menu for 100 guests was the place to be last night at a fundraising evening hosted by Councillor Victor Eni
Hertsmere Mencap is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
The Mayor, Cllr Victor Eni and his wife Martine, hosted a lively Jazz evening to raise funds for Hertsmere Mencap. With around 100 people in attendance at the three-course dinner, more than £900 was collected, all of which has been donated to Hertsmere Mencap.
Linda Tanner, a life-long member of Hertsmere Mencap, was the winner of the annual Roy Pursey award, in recognition of her commitment to the charity.
