New Staff & Volunteers

We are delighted to introduce Francesca Dresner to the Day Activities team. Francesca will be replacing Sian Kenrick as Activity Coordinator. We’d like to thank Sian for doing such a super job and while we’re sorry to see her go, we’re delighted that she will continue to run her Tuesday morning music sessions, 11-1230pm at Maxwell Hall.

For more information on day activities, contact Francesca on: 07938 722 619.

Meanwhile Alyson Gnesson has taken over as leader of the Jubilee social club on Wednesday evenings. Alyson has got off to a great start saying: “Everyone was so helpful, all the members made me feel so at home. Such a lovely crowd.”

We also have some new volunteers joined us this year.

Pratibha Misra will be helping us with HR, while illustrator Gila Pritchard will be bringing her creative skills to our Monday art classes, 10-11.30am at Aberford Hall. Matt Sherwood and Steve Flanagan have joined us as minibus drivers.

Drop your blue tokens in our collection box at Borehamwood Tesco

Noah’s Ark

The children from Noah’s Ark playscheme enjoyed their Christmas party and were delighted with a surprise visit from four bikers, who let them take it in turns to sit on their enormous bikes. They also had a great time at the Radlett pantomime, where the cast from Aladdin came out to meet them after the performance. For more information on Noahs Ark, contact Rochelle Gould, Play-scheme coordinator on 020 8906 2783.
